Black Bear

Black BearWe offer a unique bear hunting experience. This incredible setting on privately owned property ranges from open meadows to dense cover. There is a limited number of bears harvested each year to ensure future successful hunts.

With such a large bear population both spot and stalk hunts have proven to be very productive.

Whitetail Deer

Whitetail DeerWith the whitetail deer numbers on the rise on our property; Hanscome Outdoor Adventures boasts a one hundred percent success rate in the 2005 season. This is a direct result of the abundance of deer herd of which 100% is wild. Hunting pressure is limited to lodge guests only. Hunts are available from stand location to stalk.

Limit: 1 antlered deer

Residents may apply to New Brunswick's antlerless draw.

Upland Gamebirds

Upland Game Bird - Ruffed GrouseNon-resident Class 2 licence

Limits:

Advisory: Woodcock is considered a migratory Game bird and a federal Migratory Game bird licence must be purchased as well.

Hanscome Outdoor Adventures is known for the bird hunting. We have worked hard to become one of the few outfitters who have their own Pheasant preserve. The wing shooting is exceptional, but our approach to Pheasant hunting is very unique. Our LETS GO WILD program has been created to give even the most
experienced hunter a truly wild hunt.

MooseEastern Moose

Limit: 1 Moose of any sex and age

Dates: Thursday, Sept. 22 - Saturday, Sept. 24

Non-resident licences are chosen by New Brunswick provincial lottery.  Approximately 3000 licences are awarded in the July computer draw.

Waterfowl

Waterfowl - Wood DuckWith the waterfowl population on the rise, ideal geographical location; waterfowl hunting is incredibly productive. We are located on the Atlantic flyway, and also have a large population of resident geese and ducks. We offer different blind setups and have a large selection of decoys and calls for both. At Hanscome Outdoor Adventures you will see large flocks of geese, mallards, teals, blacks, and wood duck.

Trout Fishing

TroutOur lodge is located on the beautiful banks of the Limestone stream. If you have ever wanted to own your own river for a day a week or a month...this is the place for you. Off the porch of our cook house you will see three of the finest trout pools you could ever imagine!

Limit: 5 trout per day
